Can Trump Really Be a Modern-Day Cyrus?

Donald Trump 2“Four years ago the Lord spoke to me and told me that in the next election, He would put a Cyrus in the White House. In fact, He said that the mantle would flow out to many, and they would do the work to galvanize the people to liberate America. I believe He will do this if we will pray. Everywhere I went I shared the vision of the Lord. I have had several dreams and visions about Donald Trump and each time, he seemed to come out of nowhere to take on the establishment! Then it began to happen.”

I’ve made a couple of trips to Trump Towers and am known as the “Cyrus Guy” for my prophetic word to Mr. Trump. But I am still shaken by something I heard in my spirit – “he will rise or fall depending upon the counsel he receives.” He needs us to pray for him to be surrounded with wise counsel.

Several well-known prophets have spoken about Donald Trump being the modern-day Cyrus for America.  Yet it seems that so many people are disillusioned with Trump and feel that all hope is lost for the November election.  People are saying they can’t vote for Trump in good conscience.  Something is wrong here.  God is doing some major things in our nation and it’s time for us to get on board with Him lest we miss our opportunity to see the change He wants to bring about.  Let’s begin by looking at what God said about Cyrus in Isaiah 45:1-8:

This is what the LORD says to His Anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut: I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name. For the sake of Jacob my servant, of Israel my chosen, I summon you by name and bestow on you a title of honor, though you do not acknowledge me. I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting men may know there is none besides me. I am the LORD, and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things. “You heavens above, rain down righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness grow with it; I, the LORD, have created it.

Cyrus did not know or acknowledge the God of Israel, yet God chose to use him.  We don’t know why God chose him, but we do know that man looks at the outward appearance, while God looks at the heart.  In the natural, Cyrus was known as a just king.  He had no desire to oppress people or steal their heritage and religion from them.  Rather than being a conqueror, he saw himself as a liberator.  The citizens of Babylon cheered when he took over their land because of his reputation as a lover of justice.  He looked for things that worked in each culture, and then sought to implement them throughout the kingdom for the benefit of all.  He respected people, a trait very rare among kings.

For whatever reason God chose Him, it was His choice to make.  Cyrus worshipped Ahura Mazda and relied on his help, yet God was going to make Himself known to Cyrus as the true source of his blessing.  The following is an excerpt from the famous Cyrus Cylinder that was uncovered in the ruins of Babylon in 1879.

“Now that I put the crown of kingdom of Iran, Babylon, and the nations of the four directions on the head with the help of (Ahura) Mazda, I announce that I will respect the traditions, customs and religions of the nations of my empire and never let any of my governors and subordinates look down on or insult them until I am alive. From now on, till (Ahura) Mazda grants me the kingdom favor, I will impose my monarchy on no nation.”

God used this man to free the Jews and allow them to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem.  The Jews were, no doubt, shocked to find this kind of favor coming from a gentile king.  When God spoke of “His anointed” it had always been a title for prophets, priests and kings of Israel.  It was the title for the Messiah.  How startling it must have been when the Jews realized this prophecy was speaking of a gentile king.  The Lord God of Israel chose to put His Spirit upon Cyrus so that he could complete the assignment God had for him.  God gave him supernatural ability and blessed him with great wealth and resources to accomplish it.

Now, if God did that in 539 B.C., what can stop Him from doing it again in our day?  The Word tells us that He doesn’t do anything without first releasing His strategy through His prophets.  The prophets of our day have been speaking that God has a new Cyrus anointed to deliver America from the grip of the enemy.  Why?  Because God loves America and wants to set her free.  Despite our wickedness, God is our Redeemer and the Blood of Jesus has already been shed so that we can fulfill our destiny as a nation.  God is only looking for us to agree with Him!  God is speaking in so many ways, making it easy for us to receive His instruction and His heart, but are we so dull of hearing that we can’t interpret the signs of our times?  Our next president will be the 45th president.  The prophecy about the first Cyrus is found in Isaiah 45:1-8.  The time has come for Isaiah 45 to be brought forth again.

In Revelation chapters 2 and 3, Jesus addresses the seven churches, which are representative of churches throughout the ages, but that also address key issues that He is dealing with in His church in these last days.  At the end of every message to the churches, Jesus says, “He who has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”  Oh, that we might hear what the Spirit is saying to the church, the Body of Christ in our day!  If God is saying that He is going to anoint Donald Trump as His Cyrus to bring a turnaround in America, then who are we to say He can’t do it this way?  Let’s not allow a religious spirit to hinder our deliverance!  How can we say we will not vote for Trump because it goes against our conscience, if God says, “This is the one I’m going to use?”  This is foolishness!  It’s no wonder then, that the verses immediately following God’s decree about Cyrus contain a rebuke to the people that would doubt God’s use of a gentile.

“How bad it will be for anyone who disputes with the very One who created him!  After all, a human being is nothing more than one clay pot among many.  Imagine the clay saying to the potter, “What do you think you’re doing?”  or “You don’t have the hands for this.”  It’s as idiotic as asking a mother or father, “What are you birthing or begetting?”  So the Eternal One, who is the Holy One and Maker of Israel, says,  Are you really going to question Me about what will happen to My children, or lecture Me about what I should do with the ones I made with My own hands?

“It is I who made the very ground on which you stand, I who shaped the human beings who walk around on it. I pulled the sky and the heavens taut with My own hands, and organized the army of stars that march across the night sky.  So it was perfectly right for me to raise up Cyrus; I will make his road ahead straight and level, so that he will rebuild My chosen place, My city Jerusalem, and set My exiled people free without exacting a price or seeking a bribe.”  Isaiah 45:9-13 The Voice

Our eyes need to be on Jesus and our ears need to be tuned to Heaven, not the media or the voices of doom.  The accuser wants to highlight every fault and certainly, there are many faults, but that is not our concern.  Our concern is to do the will of our Father and stand in agreement with what He is doing.  Let us turn to the Word instead of the news and be encouraged that God is doing so great a work on our behalf.  Let us turn to pray instead of agreeing with accusation against this one God has chosen.  We need to lift our voices in unity for the deliverance of this nation and let God be God in how He answers our prayers.

Father, forgive us for our stubborn ways and our lack of understanding.  Open our ears that we may truly hear from Heaven and shout back a resounding, “Yes!” in agreement with Your plans and purposes.  Grant us grace to pray fervently for Your anointed Cyrus in our day.  Thank you that You love America and You are not willing to turn away from us.  Let the Blood of Jesus cover our sins as a nation and bring us back to the destiny that You had for us from the beginning.  Let Your Glory be seen in America as You work repentance in our hearts and cleanse our land.  Amen and amen!

Time to Bring Forth What You Have Seen

16 August 2012
Comments Off on Time to Bring Forth What You Have Seen

God releases prophetic vision to those He chooses so they can lead others to bring the vision into manifestation.   When God gives the vision, it is for the purpose of allowing the recipient to “see” what God sees.  If then, they obey God, God will provide all that is necessary to make the vision a reality according to His timing.

Abraham was an example for us.  In Genesis, God had told Abraham five times that He was making covenant with him and that He would multiply his seed to possess the land.  Like us, Abraham struggled to believe this at times.   He tried to make things happen.  Then in Genesis 22, God invited Abraham into a new level of revelation.

“…God tested Abraham and said to him…”take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering ….”  Gen 22:1-2

Moriah means ‘chosen by God, seen by God.’  God wanted Abraham to ‘see’ that He would provide all that was needed to secure the covenant He made with him.  In the place where Abraham stumbled and tried to figure out how to “have a son” thereby producing Ishmael, God had to prove Abraham.  Would Abraham really believe what God had said and could he trust God to provide?

This time Abraham obeyed perfectly.  He told Isaac, “God will provide the lamb” for the sacrifice.  “Provide” is the same word as SEE, the Hebrew word Ra’ah.  Even though God’s instruction seemed to contradict His promise, Abraham lifted his hand to slay Isaac.  Abraham was no longer relying on his own understanding.  God stopped him (at the last minute) and then drew his attention to the bush where the ram was caught.  Now Abraham could SEE what God provided and he offered his sacrifice.  Abraham called the place, “The Lord Sees.”

Abraham caught God’s vision.  He SAW what God SAW.  His faith had come to a new level and he trusted God rather than looking for an alternative sacrifice, one that he could create.  Abraham had been proved and now God was able to release provision to him.  The whole experience was not about the offering, it was about obedience.

In these last days, in this season of seeing (Ayin),  God is calling to all who will see with Him.  He is releasing a new wave of prophetic revelation (also called The Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation), regarding His end-time plan.  He is looking for partners that will believe Him even when His instructions seem contradictory to His promise.

In Daniel 11:32, God says, “But the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits.”

When you look at the Hebrew words for “know” and “exploits,” you find the true meaning of this verse is,

Those who have ‘seen’ with their God will bring forth what they have seen!

V 33 – Those who have gained this understanding through prophetic revelation will be considered wise and successful in God’s eyes.  God will allow them to teach and instruct many.

God is releasing supernatural wisdom, revelation, and vision for those who will partner with Him to bring forth His Kingdom. He wants us to SEE what He sees, the future of His Kingdom.  We get to partake of the glory that He has prepared, but we also get to share in the sufferings.  Verses 33-34  go on to say that those who have understanding will also be persecuted, taken into captivity and killed.  But God will be their victory.  He will send the Holy Spirit and angels to help them.  They will be few in number but mighty in strength.  Many deceivers will join with them in an attempt to weaken and divide their forces.  Some of them will stumble (as Abraham did), but it will be for the purpose of purifying them and proving them to be true.  This is promised for the appointed time – the last days – our day!

Oh Lord, open our eyes that we may see what You see, that we may gain prophetic vision and build Your Kingdom!

Don’t Worry, Just Respond

Love Maggie Yoingco artwork. Beautifully profound with childlike faith.

“We do not become a new person by changing our behavior. We discover the person we already are in Christ and we behave accordingly. Being restored to First Love means returning to a lifestyle of allowing yourself to be wonderfully loved! We therefore need to repent of our focus on our own performance and be restored to a life of responding to God’s passion for us specifically!”           Graham Cooke

I read this and think “I know this,” yet so often this is not where I live.  I look to what I can do, and how I’m doing it, and whether I’m doing it good enough.   It’s all about me, me, me.  Just recently, the Lord gave me a revelation on this, and I realized that all I really have to do is trust in His goodness toward me.  He already loved me and He has already promised me so much, before I ever received Him!  This is a daily pursuit, to stay in that position of responder, instead of feeling like I have to make something happen.

In our desperation, we can get so busy “trying” that we lose sight of Him and His call to rest and enjoy being His child.  Our focus gets all messed up.  The enemy knows just how to keep us feeling the burden of responsibility for our own lives.  His lies bombard us daily, speaking to us of how “we’re just not doing enough!”  But the Word of God says, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.  Submit to Me and I will draw near to you.”  (James 4:7-8)   Jesus says, “Do not seek what you will eat and drink and stop worrying….because your Dad knows you need all these things….Just seek Him.”  (paraphrased from Luke 12:29-30)

I don’t know about you, but when I have only $5 left in my wallet and don’t know where the next round of supply is coming from, I still have a hard time not worrying!  Yet Jesus places no conditions on this statement, He speaks in complete confidence, and so should I because never once have I not had what I truly needed.  It might not all come as I hope or expect, but it does all come and I have never been without! Oh that we all could trust Him more, then we could be a lot more joyful!

I’m  praying for you, my Friends, that all your cares melt away in His Presence.  May you see what He sees when He looks at you, may you experience the delight of His face!  It’s there that all your needs are truly met.

Shalom!

Do You Want To Know A Secret?

27 July 2011
Comments Off on Do You Want To Know A Secret?

We all love to be told a secret; it makes you feel special, like one with privileged information.  The thrill of the secret comes not only from the information that is given, but the person who is willing to tell you the information.  It is because of the special relationship that you have with the person that you are given ‘privileged information.’  What you do with the information  after you are told reveals how much you value the relationship that allowed you to be one of the privileged few.

Jesus, in Mark 4:11, tells His followers, “The secret of the Kingdom of God has been given to you.”  Hmmm, if this is true, how come so many Christians are walking around in the dark, not understanding the times or seasons?  Jesus goes on to say that those on the outside hear everything in parables so that they may see but never perceive, and hear but never understand.  If they did perceive and understand, then they would turn and be forgiven.

Throughout Mark chapter 4, Jesus speaks a parable and then gives an explanation to his disciples.  He wants His disciples to have understanding, He wants them to know how the Kingdom works and how He and His Father think.  The chapter concludes with the statement, “When he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything.”  This is the nature of Jesus.  He considers His disciples trustworthy enough to share His secrets with them.  He is not trying to make them guess what His intentions are. He wants them not only to understand, but to partner with Him in establishing the Kingdom.  How can you build the Kingdom without understanding the blueprint?

We must ask ourselves, “Do I understand the secrets of the Kingdom?”  Have I taken time to sit at Jesus’ feet and listen to His explanations?  Have my thinking and my actions been changed because I’ve spent time with Jesus?

As I was pondering these questions, I thought about how we learn.  As a homeschooling mom, I have the privilege of teaching my children.  Math continues to be one of the most challenging subjects to teach.  I explain the concepts and draw diagrams.  I wait to see if understanding has occurred.  If it has not, I try another way of explaining.  This process may take several hours or several days.  But if teacher and student stay engaged, understanding will come.  The proverbial light bulb will come on and the student will then know how to work the problems.

So it is with us and Jesus.  Just because we read the text in the Bible does not mean we have understanding.  Just because we hear someone preach a message does not mean we have understanding.  Sometimes revelations comes quickly, but usually it takes some effort on our part.  It takes time to sit with Jesus, ask Him questions and hear His response.  We cannot hear when we are always talking or while we are doing other things.  Ever try to learn a new math concept while watching TV or playing a video game?

When Jesus said “those on the outside” I don’t believe He was speaking only of unbelievers, He was speaking also of believers that remained on the fringe of hearing, those that did not press in to gain understanding.  He says, if you ask, then you will receive.  If we ask Him to explain His words, then He will.  Our desire for Him compels Him to make His heart known, but He will not entrust His secrets to those that have no real desire to change or to cooperate with Him in bringing about change.  You will only invest your time and energy in that which you value.  If you labor to gain understanding then when it comes, you’ll be ready to shift your life to make room for a new way of doing things.  You’ll be ready to help establish the Kingdom in your life and the lives of those around you.  If you only hear the words and think you understand, lasting change will not come.  It will be as Jesus described in the parable of the sower, the word will be snatched away because it has no root.

Loving God wholeheartedly requires time and patience.  It requires discipline and diligence, hunger and sacrifice.  What are you willing to give up so that you can gain the secrets of the Kingdom?  This is the measure of your love for Jesus and His Kingdom.  Salvation is free, but being a disciple is costly.  How badly to you want to know His secrets?

Leander Ablaze!

The Lord awakened me early this morning with these words, “Leander’s Ablaze for the Glory of God!”

As fire kindles the brushwood, as fire causes water to boil, to make Your Name known to Your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Your Presence!  Isaiah 64:2

Yesterday, around 12:30 pm, a brush fire broke out in the Grand Mesa community of Leander which is just a couple miles behind my house.  Because of extreme drought in Central Texas, the dry and brittle land is ripe for fire.  Though we don’t yet know how the fire began, we saw its effect as it combined with high winds and quickly spread to encompass 60 acres and threaten 800 homes.  Helicopters and firefighters worked diligently for hours with the help of many surrounding areas to contain it.  People were initially evacuated from their homes, but by around 6:30 pm, they were allowed to return.  This morning the fire is contained, but is still burning.

The Lord has been saying to me, “Leander is ripe unto harvest.”  Today, I’m seeing that Leander, and Texas in general, is truly “Ripe Unto Harvest.”  We are like the brushwood….dry, brittle and ready to burst into flames for Jesus!  The fire of God’s glory is being poured out on Leander and Texas, just like the flames of fire appeared on the disciples at Pentecost.  The flames are a visible sign of a spiritual reality.  This is the season of Pentecost, it is God’s appointed time to meet with His people.  He is doing a new thing.  God is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh.  People’s hearts are being softened and they are thirsty to know the True and Living God.

While we pray for this physical fire to be contained, we also pray that the spiritual fire of God’s glory continue to spread like wildfire.  We now cry out for the Lord to rend the heavens and come down.  Open the heavens and send the refreshing rain of Your Spirit, not to quench the fire, but to release greater dimensions of Your Spirit and bring renewal to the dry, broken hearts of the people.  Cause life to spring forth from the ashes of our lives.  Where there has been destruction of families, loss of all kinds, pain and suffering, let the river of Life flow and bring healing.  Wash away the pain and sadness, the guilt and the shame, O Lord Jesus.  Let this land flow with milk and honey once again.  May fruitfulness and abundance come forth from the earth, may our hearts be united to Yours, Lord Jesus, so the Nations may tremble at Your Presence.  May every Laborer hear the call of our Father, take up their post and sound the alarm.  Just as firefighters worked tirelessly, let those that have been prepared as ‘fire starters’ begin to release the fire of God in their communities until we see the fires come together and all of Texas burns for His Glory!    Spread the Good News, The Son of Righteousness has arisen in our midst and He has healing in His wing!  Salvation is a FREE gift, share it with everyone.  Jesus is coming…..soon!

Unveiling Jesus Christ

12 October 2010
Comments Off on Unveiling Jesus Christ

The Book of Revelation presents a great challenge to the Church of Jesus Christ.  Some are intimidated by it, some claim it’s too difficult to understand, others are afraid of it.  For these reasons, this Book has been largely ignored.  This sad reality must be reversed.  God gave us this Book as a gift!  It is part of His Word, just like any other book in the Bible, but it has key information for the End-Times generation.  To ignore this Book is to ignore the wisdom and insight that God wants to reveal at this critical juncture of history.  He wants to prepare His Body by first, drawing us deeper into His heart so that we may be assured of His thoughts and His intentions toward us and toward others.  Secondly, He wants us to be aware of what He is about to do so that we can partner with Him.  He doesn’t intend for us to be bystanders.  We have the opportunity to actively engage in bringing about His purposes in the earth.  We have the opportunity to be partakers of His glory.

For anyone who loves Jesus, it is vital that you study the Book of Revelation and begin to understand the great depth of God’s heart that He has chosen to share with us.  Part of the problem may be that we have shortened the name of the Book to “Revelation.”  The whole title of the Book is “The Revelation of Jesus Christ.”  Sounds more intriguing already, doesn’t it?  It is the revealing, or the unveiling of Jesus!  I think it’s interesting that we can read from Genesis to Jude and Jesus is revealed in every book.  But then we come to the very last book of the Bible and God leaves us a surprise, now He says, “I’m going to reveal my Son.”  This book alone contains almost 100 names and descriptions of Jesus!

The first chapter contains 24 descriptions of Jesus.  Through these names and descriptions, Jesus is revealing greater depth of understanding of His personality and His ministry.  These are to be understood in the context of eternity.  The Bible presents the story of Jesus, who was, who is and who is to come.  As the End-times generation we really want to know this Jesus who is to come.  We need to understand His heart and His leadership.  Everything Jesus does is done for love, He is love.  Even His judgments are done in love.

Chapters 2 and 3, known as the Letters to the Churches, reveal more about Jesus, but also how we are to live before Him in relation to each other.  It gives us a blueprint for dwelling together in unity so that we can release the fullness of His power in the earth.  Ephesians 4:13 tells us that our goal, as the Body of Christ, is to “attain unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” This level of maturity will be necessary for us to work with Jesus in bringing forth His plan that is laid out in the rest of the Book.  Chapters 6 through 22 explain Jesus’ End-Time strategic plan to remove all that hinders love from the earth.  Understanding the plan requires an understanding of the Man.  We can easily misunderstand Jesus’ actions if we do not understand His heart.  The Bible tells us His ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts.   Yet, God does not leave us uninformed.  He has given us His Word and Holy Spirit so that we can understand.  It is our glory to search the matter out .

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.  Prov 25:2

An Enlarged Heart

Comments Off on An Enlarged Heart

In this article, Paul Keith Davis shares what the Lord is speaking to the Body of Christ.  He is calling His people into a deeper level of love and communion with Himself.  He is speaking about the First Commandment.  If you hear the Lord’s voice speaking to you to go deeper, take a look at my latest publication called “Loving God:  The First and Great Commandment.”  It’s a tool to help you and your children enlarge your heart for God!  Blessings for a great new year in God!

Paul Keith Davis:  Recently I Heard the Lord Ask, “What is the Greatest Gift that I Could Give My People?”

Greetings friends,

I trust this newsletter finds you full of faith and hope for this coming season. This has been an incredibly active month spiritually from Rosh Hashanah through Tabernacles. Much revelation and insight have been given to prepare us to move forward into a season of fruitfulness and harvest.

The Lord willing, we hope to share much of that insight in the coming days. There is a major emphasis at the present moment on God enlarging and increasing our capacity for Him. It takes God to serve God! We need the Holy Spirit to give us a greater depth of hunger and desperation for Him than ever before. The times in which we live dictate that reality.

Recently I heard the Lord ask, “What is the greatest gift that I could give My people?” Of course, the immediate answer is salvation and freedom from our sins. However, the context of the question related to the Church and the various giftings that we are presently contending for. I know from history that whenever I am asked a question I generally do not know the answer, so I responded with the question back to the Lord. The response I heard was, “What is the greatest commandment?” Naturally, my mind reverted to Matthew 22:36-38, saying:

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment.”

Therefore, although we are believing for great mantles of healing, revelation, supernatural insight and other endowments essential for the harvest, a valid argument could be made that the greatest gift would be desperation for God, or as I have shared lately, “an enlarged heart for God.” This is the revelation that we have derived from the amazing horse athlete, Secretariat. We have shared this in a message entitled, “The Heart of a Champion” and “Books of Destiny.”

Another Generation to Encounter God

During Chuck Pierce’s “Head of the Year” gathering, I was speaking on the “enlarged heart” message and all of the prophetic implications that I have received from the study of Secretariat when Chuck prophetically interrupted the message with an incredible decree from the Hawaiian delegation.

The group from Hawaii had prepared an amazing prophetic dance and procession to present Chuck with a carving of a big red horse made from Koa wood with the Hebrew emblems for the year 5771 carved into it. It was a powerful time of proclamation and decree for the coming season. I was deeply honored and touched as Chuck then presented the “big red” horse to me.

I am completely convinced that a spiritual deposit is available in the realm of the Spirit that will catapult us into a deeper and more intimate place with God. It is in fact the greatest gift that He could give us at this time as Christians. History is saturated with the testimony of devoted Saints who gave themselves for the message of the Kingdom. Hebrews 11 articulates a random sampling of those throughout Biblical history identified as true champions. Many more will be recorded in the archives of Heaven from this generation who have encountered God in like fashion.

A simple study of modern Church history also records the lives of many who changed and influenced their generation for God. Invariably, many of them lived productive and fruitful lives in the Kingdom but along the way became more desperate for the Lord, thus paving the way for an encounter with Him that changed and transformed them forever.

That is the testimony of men and women such as Kathryn Kuhlman, William Branham, John G. Lake, AA Allen and many others. I believe such an encounter is on the horizon for those of us today who experience an enlarged heart and greater capacity for God.

For Kathryn Kuhlman it was at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles, California; for William Branham it was deep in the woods of Kentucky on May 7, 1946; for AA Allen it was while locked away in a closet for many hours where he encountered God’s tangible and visible glory that launched him into a supernatural ministry. For John G. Lake, it was after a nine-month season of prayer and fasting when a glory encounter filled and saturated his life and transformed him into what he described as a “Christ-man.”

On the Brink of Prophetic Fulfillment

I believe we stand on the brink of the prophetic fulfillment of an incredible prayer the Lord offered just prior to His crucifixion. In John 17:25-26, His great high priestly prayer declared:

“O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

What an incredible opportunity! To love the Lord Jesus with the love by which the Father loved Him and sent into the world to make Him known. Needless to say, we need a supernatural increase of our capacity to walk in such an incredible place with the Lord and influence our generation accordingly.

Your Appointment Awaits You

This article was written and published by Francis Frangipane on Sept 1, 2010

Appointed Times
In spite of escalating turmoil in our world, there remains one last, great outpouring of mercy during the end times (see Matt. 24:14; Acts 2:17). This supernatural season of grace has been predetermined. It is an “appointed time” of the Lord.

For those unaware, an appointed time is, in truth, an open display of the sovereignty and power of God. In it we discover with absolute certainty that nothing is impossible for God. For this is a season when God fulfills His will on earth, fulfilling in the process His promises, and the hopes and dreams of His people.

The Psalmist wrote, “But You, O Lord, abide forever, and Your name to all generations. You will arise and have compassion on Zion; for it is time to be gracious to her, for the appointed time has come” (Ps. 102:12-13).

There is an appointed time coming for Israel, and an appointed time for you and me. If the Lord has promised, He will certainly bring it to pass.

Recall: Abraham and Sarah had waited in faith for a quarter of a century for the promise of God. Finally, as they neared one hundred years of age, the Lord told Abraham, “At the appointed time I will return to you . . . and Sarah will have a son” (Gen .18:14). One year later, “at the appointed time” (Gen. 21:2), Isaac was born to aged parents!

While there are, indeed, appointed times of judgment (see Mark 13:33), the phrase most frequently represents a time, preset by God, when He reveals “wonders, plans formed long ago, [that unfold] with perfect faithfulness”(Isa. 25:1).

Demons may stand arrayed against the Lord; nations may align themselves to fight Him. It does not matter. He who sits in the heavens laughs. For He makes “all things [His] servants” (Ps. 119:91). Even His enemies’ plans for evil are reversed and made to serve the purpose of God (see Gen. 50:20; Rom. 8:28; Acts 2:22-23).

If God gave you a vision, a spiritual hope or dream for your future, there will be an appointed time when that which God spoke comes to pass. Thus the Lord assures us,

“Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time. It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay” (Hab. 2:2-3).

If you have a vision or promise from God, that vision also has a time of fulfillment. Write it down and place it where you can see it every day. Though it tarries, wait for it. For it will certainly come to pass at the appointed time.

Appointed Servants of God
When the Lord manifests Himself openly in an appointed time, He actually moves through a power grid He established in hiddenness during the time of preparation. His work appears suddenly, but its preparation may have taken many years. Either way, an appointed time flows through appointed people. He predestines the time of their breakthrough in advance, even as He works silently within their hearts in preparation.

Consider the Lord’s word to His disciples: “You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain” (John 15:16).

Every disciple feels that, at some point, he or she chose Christ. Yet, the deeper truth is that God chose us before the foundation of the world and has been working in us. At the appointed time we choose Christ, but only after He chose us (see Eph. 1:3-5). We could not even come to Christ had not the Father drawn us (see John 6:44).

Yet, He who chose us also appointed us to bear much fruit. The same power that worked surrender in us and then inspired our faith continues to work in our hearts throughout our days, appointing us to bear fruit. The idea that we can just sit quietly in church is a deception. You may look at your life and feel unfruitful. But God is not done with you yet. Do you believe God has chosen you? Then believe also that He has appointed you to bear fruit.

The Enemy’s Work
One may argue, “But I know people who were good Christians who have fallen away.” Yes, but in many cases you will find that, at some point, they fell into deep disappointment about some failed spiritual expectation. Disappointment is not just a sad, emotional state of mind; deep disappointment actually can sever our hearts from faith. It is the enemy’s work. Demonically manipulated disappointment can actually “dis-appoint” a person from God’s destiny for their lives.

I have known many who were doing well, moving toward their appointed destiny. The future God had for them seemed almost close enough to taste. Then they became disappointed in someone or something. By accepting into their souls this demonically manipulated disappointment, their faith turned dormant; a bitter winter took over their souls. It is here, even in the throes of disappointment, that the righteous learn to live by faith (see Hab. 2:1-4).

We all face times of disappointment. I went through a time when the promise of God seemed like a foolish spiritual fantasy. For nearly three years I had not been involved in pastoral ministry. No doors would open. God was doing a work in my soul to cause me to trust Him, but I felt abandoned and cut off from my calling. In a moment of abject honesty, I prayed, “Lord, You promised that those who believed in You would not be disappointed. Master, You know all things. Look at my heart. I am full of disappointment.”

The Lord simply replied, “You’re life is not over.”

Of course, I knew that. I was a healthy young man not older than forty. Yet, the spell of disappointment had flooded my soul with darkness, causing me to conclude erroneously that God was done with me.

Listen well my friend: Satan can stop our destiny if we accept the power of disappointment into our lives. Once we accept the heaviness of a deep dis-appointment, backsliding is often not far away. You see, dis-appointment cuts us off from our vision, and without a vision people perish.

Are you carrying disappointment in your heart? Renounce it. Forgive those who have let you down. Have you personally or morally failed? Repent deeply and return to your Redeemer. Holy Spirit, I ask You to remove from my brother and sister the paralyzing sting of disappointment!

Beloved, the Spirit of God has come to release you of the effect of the dis-appointment. He reminds you, your appointment with your destiny is still set.

Prophetic Vision

God releases prophetic vision to those He chooses so they can lead others to bring the vision into manifestation.   When God gives the vision, it allows the recipient to “see” what God sees.

Then in Gen 22, God invites Abraham to a new level of revelation.

Did Abraham really believe what God had said and could he trust God to provide?

Abraham obeyed perfectly.  He tells Isaac, “God will provide the lamb” for the sacrifice.  “Provide” is the same word as SEE, the Hebrew word Ra’ah.  But still Abraham lifts his hand to slay Isaac.  God stops him (at the last minute) and then draws Abraham’s attention to the bush where the ram was caught.  Now Abraham SEES what God provided and offers his sacrifice.  Abraham calls the place, “The Lord Sees.”

This time Abraham caught God’s vision.  He SAW what God SAW.  This time his faith had come to a new level and he trusted God rather than looking for an alternative sacrifice.  Abraham had been proved, now God was able to release the provision to him.  The whole exercise was not about the offering, it was about obedience.

In these last days, in this season of seeing (Ayin),  God is calling to all who will see with Him.  He is releasing a new wave of prophetic revelation (also called The Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation), regarding His end-time plan.  He is looking for partners.
