Exploring Africa

18 June 2010

Africa has always been a favorite of mine.  I dreamed of going there all my life and finally had the opportunity in 1998.  The people of South Africa were wonderful, especially the precious children.  So it was my great delight to study many aspects of Africa with my own children.  We learned about many of the tribes, the habitats and the animals of Africa.  The kids used oatmeal containers to create an African memory box.  We decorated the outside with animals of the grasslands and then put all the other creative projects inside; fabric bowl, clay animals, wire toys, and stand-up animal figures.  God Bless Africa!
